Wheelchair accessible? Just ask Google Maps

Available only in the U.S. (for now), the feature relies on users to answer questions about the accessibility of a place they visit. “Wheelchair accessible entrance” will now be noted in a location’s “Amenities” section wherever Google is made aware of the accessibility. Though it will take some time for the data set to grow, the impact of this information will positively impact the lives of millions.
